Casinonomics Consulting is a small consulting firm in Charleston, South Carolina. Our expertise is the socioeconomic impacts of legalized gambling, including sports betting, casinos, and online gambling. We provide services including academic literature reviews, policy analyses and critiques, data collection and analysis, socioeconomic impact studies, project proposal evaluations, social cost estimation, and expert testimony.

Unlike larger gaming consulting firms, all Casinonomics staff have trained at the Ph.D. level in their disciplines and have applied their knowledge to different facets of the gambling industry over many years. Casinonomics is able to provide consulting services at a lower cost than our competitors because we hire consultants on an ad hoc basis, depending on the expertise needed for a particular project.

Since our consultants have academic backgrounds, our writing is concise. (Most of our past reports have been under 50 pages.) This is in sharp contrast to some of the larger firms who use boilerplate reports, add irrelevant data, commentary and fluff, and produce reports in the hundreds of pages that obscure the fundamental issues.
